Eight convicted over fire that killed Dublin neurosurgeons family

first_imgEIGHT PEOPLE, INCLUDING a teenager, have been convicted over an arson attack that killed the family of a Dublin-based neurosurgeon.BBC News reports that seven men and one male teenager were found guilty over the attack – two men of murder and four men and the teen of manslaughter.They were convicted over a “botched revenge attack” in which Shehnila Taufiq and her children Zainab, Bilal and Jamal died in September 2013.Shehnila’s husband is Muhammad Taufiq Abdulsattar, of Beaumont Hospital.
