Watch: Harbhajan Singh’s daughter Hinaya cheers for papa and Chennai Super Kings

first_imgIn the Chennai Super Kings camp, also known as Daddy’s Army, the loudest cheers for the seasoned campaigners have been coming from the star kids.On Tuesday, it was Harbhajan Singh’s daughter Hinaya who cheered Chennai Super Kings ahead of their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019 match against Kolkata Knight Riders. In a short Instagram clip on Harbhajan’s Instagram, Hinaya can be seen getting the “CSK CSK” chants out with a lot of enthusiasm. The two-year-old also was optimistic that her “papa” would win the match for MS Dhoni’s men in Chennai.Hinaya proved to be the lucky charm for CSK as Harbhajan Singh shone with the ball in the team’s seven-wicket win over KKR on Tuesday. On a sluggish wicket, Harbhajan used all his experience to dent KKR early after MS Dhoni won the toss and sent the opposition in to bat.Harbhajan Singh finished with figures of 15 for 2 in four overs. He removed Sunil Narine as early as his first over inside the powerplay with a brilliantly flighted delivery. The veteran off-spinner came back towards the end to remove Piyush Chawla for 8.#FilterKaapi with Bhajju pa! CSK gunned down the total with 7 wickets and 15 balls to spare and jumped to the top of IPL 2019 points table.advertisementHarbhajan Singh has been in spectacular bowling form for CSK. Despite not playing international cricket in the lead up to IPL 2019, the World Cup-winning off-spinner has come up with a couple of match-winning performances already.Harbhajan is among the top-10 wicket-takers in IPL 2019 with seven wickets in just four matches. Also, the off-spinner is among the most economical bowlers in the ongoing season as he has conceded runs at a miserly rate of 5.12 per over.Following CSK’s table-topping win over KKR, captain Dhoni raved about Harbhajan and his spin bowling partner Imran Tahir, who is second on the bowling charts with 9 wickets from 6 matches.”The age is on their side. They are like wine, the way they are maturing. Bhajji has done well in whatever games he has played. I have fallen back on Tahir and he has done the job. They’ve come up every time but once we go out to flatter wickets, we’ll have to see what combinations we’ve to play.”Imran Tahir has confidence in me. He has got a very good flipper. He is someone who if you tell that this is the right pace to bowl on, he does it most of the times,” MS Dhoni said at the post-match presentation. Also Read | IPL 2019: Gracia Raina and Hinaya Singh bond as MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina look onAlso See:last_img
