Brian Brigoli, vice chairman of the Archdiocesan Commission on Cultural Heritage, said he advised the parish priests of the affected churches on the best course of action to take to speed up the repairs, including recycling the debris of the churches.Fr. Brigoli said the Archdiocese is soliciting donations from local organizations to fund repairs.Cebu Gov. Hilario Davide III said the P7,002,000 in cash donations given to the province will be used to help repair schools and churches declared as heritage sites.He said they can also be used to defray expenses of local government units whose buildings were damaged by the quake.
