Photo compliments: 365llmmpFive young ladies from the communities of Ans-de_Mai, Anse-sol-Dat and Bense are working diligently towards capturing the title of Ambassador of BAA, the first intellectual pageant to be hosted in Dominica.This pageant is among activities planned by the Committee for the Development of Bense, Ans-de-Mai and Ans-sol-Dat (CIMBAA), in celebration of their first reunion which is scheduled to kick off this evening.The contestants are:• Sixteen year old Meriscia Carriere, sponsored by Alvin Fabien and Pure Entertainment & Sports,• Twenty year old Jamesa Fabien, sponsored by D Blush and Pure Entertainment & Sports,• Sixteen year old Melanie Joseph, sponsored by CIMBAA NY and Y & J Trucking,• Fifteen year old Jayanne Thomas, sponsored by Andrea Bougouneau, Ferrol Trucking, Martha’s Deli, & Laurel Royer and• Sixteen year old Kyla Bontiff, sponsored by Beverly Jacobs.The ladies will compete in five segments; introductory speech, ambassadorial presentation, talent, evening wear and question and answer on Friday, 6th July, 2012 at the Reunion Square in Anse-de-Mai.The theme for the reunion is “Re-uniting Our Efforts… Embracing Each Other”, and will open with a fete featuring Burning Flames from Antigua on 29th June, 2012.Other activities include and oldie goldies night, the delivery of care packages to the elderly, a talk on the history of the three villages by Historian, Dr. Lennox Honeychurch and will climax on 9th July, 2012.Dominica Vibes News 123 Views   one comment Sharing is caring!
