Classes for the eight-week singing program will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. Mondays, and from 5 to 6 p.m. Monday for the acting program. Both classes start June 26 and cost $70 each to register. They will be held at the Resource Center, 13710 La Mirada Blvd. The singing class will be taught by a vocal performance coach. Medical insurance class to begin WHITTIER – Whittier Adult School is offering a six-week course in medical insurance applications. LA HABRA – A man was arrested on suspicion of killing a resident whose body was found inside a car, La Habra police said Saturday. Police responding on a call of a possible homicide 9 p.m. Friday at Walnut Street and Imperial Highway, found 27-year-old La Habra resident John Fisher inside of a white four-door sedan parked on the east side of Walnut Street, officials said. Fisher, the lone occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. Police arrested David Elkins, 19, of La Habra, on suspicion of murder.
